Southwark Council - Client Case Study
Article written: 08/06/2007

Problem:
Our client needed to create a display to be used in schools for educating children on recycling and waste management, and contacted us having a concept of a space ship cockpit graphic. Another requirement of the project was that graphic elements that could be attached to the background image.

Action:
Pod Exhibition Systems to commission a design of a futuristic and colourful image to capture children’s attention. Also to source a means of attaching free grahics to a portable graphic backdrop.

  Solution:
Having requested a rough sketch from the client, POD provided a proof of a proposed design, which the client was able to ‘tweak’ to their requirements, then approve for POD to print the graphics. These were produced on a ‘metal paper’ material, along with smaller graphics pieces which had magnetic strips attached to rear.
The birth of the magnetic pop up!

Success:

The assembly is brilliant!!

And the teachers that have seen it have all requested an assembly, which is great!
Here is a photo of the assembly, but we will take some more photos of the assembly when we do it the first time.

Thanks again,
Helen
