Problem:
To procure a display system suitable for a busy reception area, to
display a changing array of posters, leaflets and certificates. The
display system must enhance an already contemporary design style
and be modular to incorporate later development requirements.
Action:
Having seen the Freestyle display system on the Pod Exhibition
Systems web site
(www.pod-exhibition-systems.co.uk/posterdisplays.htm), NHS
Logistics were keen to see if this system would meet their
requirements. A meeting was arranged with the NHS Logistics,
POD having already prepared a quotation and visual. A demonstration
Freestyle unit was made and this was taken to the meeting on
site for the client to see.
Solution:
The final Freestyle unit was specified to contain an A1 poster
holder, 10x1/3A4 leaflet dispensers and 2 cable-mounted glass
shelves. The easy access pocket allows for a simple change-over
of the display posters on a quarterly basis, POD supplying the
posters direct to site. Toughened safety glass for the shelves
ensured the display met the NHS stringent health and safety requirements.
A modular lighting kit was also considered for where the displays
were to be in darker areas of some sites. 6 units were ordered
for the satellite bases and installations were carried out by
POD to each site
